INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) Romance came to life Tuesday night after the Castleton Square Mall closed.

Daniel Monaghan and Qing Zheng have been dating for nearly six years after meeting when Zheng was a store manager at The Buckle.

After the mall closed on Valentine`s Day, Monaghan had arranged for flower petals and candles to be placed in the shape of a heart in the spot where they first met.

He proposed and she said yes!

Zheng talked about the experience on social media:

`Yesterday, my best friend asked me to marry him. He did nothing but spoil me all day. He took me to get a couples massage, get my nails done and told me we had to be `somewhere` at 9;45pm. I don`t know how he pulled it off but he got us into the mall after hours. We walked in with his hands over my eyes. I opened my eyes to a heart outlined in rose petals and candles. This is the place where we first met. He told me when he first saw me five and a half years ago, he wished he had someone like me in his life...and here we are today. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. There are not enough words to describe how much I love this man. I am so happy that I get to marry my best friend!!!!!!! I love you so much Danny!!!! I can`t wait to spend the rest of our lives together!!!!!
